Caliper solves the fit before you pick a single colour.
Type the reference. The engine returns lug width, taper, thickness, case curve and whether your bars are quick-release — measured from 2,140 watches, not guessed from a chart.
Wristcraft is a fitting session for your wrist, run in the browser. Give us the reference on your caseback and how you actually live in the watch — we solve the fit to the millimetre, render a bespoke wardrobe you can turn in real time, and our atelier in Florence cuts it by hand.
Live fitting — Ref. 116500LN on shell cordovan, 20/16, saddle stitch in oxblood.

Type the reference. The engine returns lug width, taper, thickness, case curve and whether your bars are quick-release — measured from 2,140 watches, not guessed from a chart.
Turn the watch, change the light, swap the leather. Every change re-renders against your actual reference, so what you approve is what gets cut.
A dress strap, a daily, and the one you did not know you wanted — chosen against your wear pattern, not your last click.
Cutting, skiving, saddle stitch, edge burnish, final fit. Each stage photographed and posted to your build.
Shell cordovan, alligator, suede, nubuck, canvas, sailcloth, rubber, perlon. Order a five-swatch card and we credit it against your build.
Your watch has a spec sheet. Your wardrobe has a mood. Nothing has ever held both at once — so you bought a strap the colour of the photo and hoped.
Caliper reads your reference and returns a millimetre-true spec — lug width, taper, strap thickness at the lug and at the buckle, case curve radius, bar diameter and clearance. It knows that a 116500LN wants 20/16 and that a 5711 will not take anything over 3.6 mm at the lug. Nothing about that is a chart lookup.
See how Caliper measures a watch“I have a drawer of straps that nearly fit. Wristcraft is the first thing that asked what the watch was before it asked what I liked.”
Every approved build leaves the app as a paper pattern on a bench in Florence. One hide, one cutter, one pair of hands from first cut to final burnish — the way a strap was made before straps came in bags of five.
“We stopped stocking straps entirely. The fitting runs on an iPad at the counter, the build ships to the customer, and we have five square metres of floor back.”
Every fitting teaches it something: the browns you keep rejecting, the fact that you never wear the deployant, that your November wrist is 2 mm smaller than your July wrist. By the third session the wardrobe arrives mostly right and you spend your time editing, not searching.

Around one fitting in twelve lands on a reference we have not measured. The session switches to guided measurement: you photograph the caseback and lay the watch on a printed scale we generate for your screen size, and a human checks the result inside four hours. The build does not start until that check clears, and we add the reference to the database afterwards.
No. The session, the Caliper spec, the 3D preview and the generated wardrobe are free and need no account. You create an account only when you approve a build, because that is the point at which we need an address and a bench slot.
A made-to-measure strap is exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal under Italian consumer law, so we cannot take it back because you changed your mind. What we do instead is the fit guarantee: if the finished strap does not fit the reference you declared, we re-cut or remake it once at no cost. You also get a twelve-hour window after approval to change anything before we cut.
Geometrically it is exact — the same spec that drives the render drives the paper pattern. Colour is the honest caveat: leather is a natural material, dye lots move, and shell cordovan in particular looks different in every light. We ship a five-swatch card with wardrobe builds and credit it back for that reason.
Eleven days on the bench, on average, plus carriage — two days inside the EU, three to five to the UK and North America. Concierge Annual holds a priority slot and averages five. Every stage is photographed and posted to your build, so you can see where it is without asking.
Yes, and it is most of what makes the job interesting. Fixed bars, drilled lugs, 19 mm and 21 mm oddities, curved-end fitments for integrated cases — the engine flags them and routes the build to a cutter who has done that fitment before. Curved-end work adds four days and €40.
Caseback photos are used to confirm the reference and nothing else. They are deleted ninety days after the build ships, they are never used for marketing, and they are never shared outside the atelier. The fitting measurements themselves are kept for twenty-four months so a returning collector does not have to measure again.
Start with the reference on your caseback. The fitting does the rest, and nothing is charged until you approve a build.
